There is one thing I love to do every night, and that's wash my face. I get rid of all the grime and makeup from the day, and go to bed feeling refreshed. It's so important to take care of your skin. I can't believe I used to not wash my face on some of those looong nights in college. It happens.

I use a range of products in my nightly routine. Some are from Sephora and some are from the grocery store. It's all about finding what works for you.

This is what works for me...


1. Remove eye makeup with Almay oil-free makeup remover pads
2. Wash my face with Clearasil Ultra
3. Clean face with cotton ball and Avalon Organics toner
4. Put on Philosophy's Hope in a Jar face lotion
5. Alternate nights with ROC deep wrinkle cream and Jan Marini eye cream

It's a process, but it's worth it in the end. I want to maintain a youthful appearance and avoid breakouts. It's worth it to spend a couple more minutes on a nightly routine! My mom has always encouraged me to spend time caring for my skin, and she's one to listen to. Her skin is flawless!

  1. I still have to find the avalon toner and the hope in a jar- but so far, everything else has been working great!

    Also, I recently read that you said something about starting resolutions TODAY, and not the new year- so I did! I went to the gym today and had an unsweetened green tea from Starbucks afterwards :)

    One quick question though- do you take any kind of protein supplement? Or put it in smoothies? If so, what kind?
