positive mental attitude

I've learned that I can either let people or situations drag me down, or I can rise above it. There have definitely been times where I let things consume me or let people's actions make me unhappy. Then I finally reached a point of peace and clarity; a state of mind that didn't allow anything to make me feel less than the person I aim to be. It was the point where I weeded out all the bull shit and I continued striving for happiness, and being a bigger and better person.

Only you are control of your happiness. Only you can bring yourself down. The world is full of shitty people and shitty circumstances, but it's YOUR outlook. It's your mood. It's your attitude. No one makes you feel a certain way, unless you give them permission to. Same with circumstances. Be in charge of your life and your happiness. Be in control of what you let in to your mind and heart.
