phoenix fashion week

I had the amazing opportunity to join the lovely people of Priceless and attend Phoenix Fashion Week this past Saturday evening. With hair and makeup ready, I slipped on the perfect little black dress that the company graciously gave me, and headed to Talking Stick Resort where the event was being held.

I met up with the ladies and gent in the Palo Verde Lounge for some drinks. I had never met them before, which was nerve racking because I am shy, but with a vodka water in hand my nerves calmed down a little bit. It helped that they were very welcoming and pretty hilarious. Within five minutes, I felt like I had a brand new set of friends. We walked the red carpet and checked out some boutiques that had set up booths.

Then it was showtime! The runway was lit up and bright white just waiting for models to walk it. The weather couldn't be anymore perfect for the occasion, especially since it was held outside. I took my seat and waited eagerly for the show to start.

I want to share some of my favorite designers of the night and their amazing creations. First up, Enzoani. The gowns were amazing and definitely got my bridal fever going. I loved the ethereal look and lace details. My favorite.

My next favorite (and possibly my most favorite) was Silvia Bours. Maybe it was the Phantom of the Opera themed show, or the tulle adorned shoes, or the amazingly playful dresses, but I loved the whole presentation so much.

My next favorite was Michelle Hébert. Her dresses were incredible and so unique. They definitely got mine and the audience's attention with how whimsical, yet edgy they were.

My next favorite was Trang Nguyen. The designs were classic and chic, and consisted mostly of red and white.

The show closed out with Rocky Gathercole. His designs were killer. I'd never seen anything like that. The various materials he used created the most unusual, yet fashionable dimension. Everyone was blown away.

It was a night full of amazing creations that I wish I could sport on an everyday basis. I admire all of the designers for their talent and eye for art. Each one brought a different look to the table and I love that most of them stepped out of the box.
